Teaching yoga in the Benfleet, Hadleigh and Leigh-on-Sea area


Classes aim to promote strength, stamina and flexibility as well as a general sense of well-being and relaxation both physically and mentally. Yoga brings about an awareness of the body and focuses the mind, allowing relaxation to develop. Classes are suitable for all ages and abilities.

Classes begin with a joint loosening sequence that develops full range of movement in the joints and prepares both the joints and muscles for asana (posture) practice. Asana work includes standing and floor based postures that promote physical fitness, greater flexibility, increased energy and encourages deep rhythmic breathing which is an integral part of yoga practice. At the end of the class there is a period of guided relaxation.
